Festival Entry

There will be 2 entries to Good Vibrations Festival.

• Entry 1 is located on Flemington Dr, via Epsom Road. This entry point is best accessed by catching the tram to Flemington Racecourse and entering Flemington Dr via Epsom Rd on foot.

• Entry 2 is via Flemington Racecourse Station. This entry point is best accessed by catching the train or on foot via the Hill Gate.

Public transport is the easiest and best way to get to Good Vibrations Festival.

PLEASE NOTE: The West Gate Freeway Alliance advises that there will be significant works on the freeway taking place on Sunday 21st of February. To safely undertake these works, the West Gate Freeway outbound (heading towards the West Gate Bridge) will be closed from Power Street/ Kings Way to Montague Street. All traffic heading towards the Western Suburbs will be detoured via Power Street.

Trams

Catch the No. 57 tram from the corner of Elizabeth and Flinders Street. Trams stop at Flemington Racecourse on Epsom Road near the entry to the Festival. The last tram returns from Epsom Rd at 11:33pm. Make sure you have a valid Metcard for your journey.

Trains

Fast, frequent trains will run to and from Flemington Racecourse.

To Good Vibrations Festival

Special trains will depart Flinders Street Station stopping at Southern Cross Station and North Melbourne, then express to Flemington Racecourse Station. Make sure you have a valid Metcard for your journey. The first train to Flemington Racecourse Station will depart Flinders Street Station at 11:00am and then as follows:

11:00am - 1:45pm every 10 minutes

1:45pm - 7.45pm every 20 minutes

After 7:45pm trains from Flinders Street Station will travel express to Flemington Racecourse Station only.

From Good Vibrations Festival

Trains will return from Flemington Racecourse Station all day. Prior to 2:00pm trains will be express from Flemington Racecourse Station to Flinders Street Station, then as follows:

2:00pm - 8:00pm every 20 minutes

8:00pm - 10:00pm every 10 minutes

10:00pm - 11:20pm every 6 minutes

The last train will depart Flemington Racecourse Station at 11:20pm.

Taxis & Hire Cars

Taxis and hire cars are to drop off and pick up at the designated taxi zone on Epsom Road North of Members Drive.

Private Charter Buses

Private Charter buses should drop off and pick up at Leonard Cr.

Car Parking

Public car parking will be available at Melbourne Showgrounds and will cost $14. Enter the car park via Showgrounds Gate 7 on Leonard Cr. Festival entry is on foot via the Hill Gate.

Walking

Pedestrians should enter the Festival via Flemington Drive off Epsom Road or via the Hill Gate off Leonard Cr. Please keep to the footpath to ensure a safe journey.

There will be 2 entries to Future Music Festival.

• Entry 1 is located at the top of Epsom Road. There is NO access to front gate down Flemington drive!

• Entry 2 is via Flemington Racecourse Station. This entry point is best accessed by catching the train only.
